Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis-Catherines Cafe is hiring a Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) to perform non-cooking duties including dishwashing, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts, and general cleaning.

This full-time position at 615 S New Ballas Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141 requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of service-related experience. English fluency and punctuality are essential as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and perform non-cooking tasks.

• Is courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
• Able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
