Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Food Service Worker I to support patient and guest nourishment in a hospital setting. You will perform non-cooking tasks including dishwashing, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashier, tray passing, loading carts, and general cleaning.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a friendly, patient-focused approach. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in a service environment; English reading/writing speaking is required.

Position Details

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment/industry.

• Is courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work in direct contact with a variety of foods.
