Job summary

Burger King is seeking entry-level team members to join a busy Houston location. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and ensure accuracy while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates are personable, reliable, and able to multitask across front counter, Drive-Thru, and food prep. Training is provided with opportunities for growth within the growing franchise.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments and responds appropriately to customer issues.
• Operates cash register or point of sale devices, and uses suggestive selling techniques to generate sales.
• Verifies the accuracy of guests' orders.
• Prepares and packages food and drink products.
• Cleans kitchen area, counters, and utensils.
• Cleans dining room, restrooms, and exterior grounds.
• Maintains Health and Safety standards in work areas.
• Unloads and stocks inventory items as needed.
• Works at multiple workstations (front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter).
• Promotes prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts.
• Follows uniform and grooming standards and policies.
• Resolves issues that may arise in the restaurant.
• Learns team effectiveness skills and works with others to achieve team goals.
• Responds to guests' needs professionally and politely.
• Communicates positively with customers, peers, and managers.
• Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates reliability and good written, math and interpersonal skills.
• Relies on reliable transportation.
