Job summary

You will assist the Food Service Manager in daily operations and help maintain a neat, safe department. The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, standing for long periods, ability to work in varying temperatures, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Handle products with care and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Greet customers with prompt, courteous service.
• Promote current promotions to customers.
• Stock, clean, straighten, and rotate products on shelves.
• Prepare products (salads, sandwiches, entrees, etc.) according to recipes.
• Ensure proper temperatures in displays and storage areas.
• Receive, store, and rotate products per procedures.
• Operate department equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies.
• Dress and groom according to policy; wear uniform and name badge.
• Maintain attendance and work overtime as needed.
