Job summary

ShopRite of Eddystone in Eddystone, PA is seeking a Food Service Associate to deliver a great customer experience by providing attentive, friendly service and answering questions with recommendations. You will assist the Food Service Manager in daily operations and maintain a neat, safe department with focus on food preparation and proper handling of products.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with food products.
• Willingness to follow safety and QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and entrees per recipe.
• Maintain clean, neat, and safe Food Service area.
• Check temperatures and ensure proper product rotation.
• Stock, rotate, and restock items as needed.
