Position Summary
If you enjoy working in a fast, friendly, and top-quality food environment while handling everything from food prep to clean-up and catering for special events, Food Service may be for you. You may work as a deck or wait staff to take orders and deliver food and drinks across the park, while also managing payments efficiently and addressing customer needs promptly. Applicants should be energetic, customer-focused, and possess cash handling and problem-solving skills, ensuring an excellent experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting customers with orders or inquiries.
- Handle food preparation for concession and private events.
- Operate cash registers and process payments.
- Deliver food orders to tables as runners.
- Prepare food in a safe and presentable manner as per menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all areas, including filling condiment dispensers, wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and keeping the environment safe for guests.
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with menu planning and inventory management.
- Set up and maintain cabanas for customer use and provide food and beverage service to cabana guests.
- Coordinate with other service teams for special requests.
- Care for and maintain issued equipment.
- Work effectively with team members to relay food orders, communicate with kitchen staff and management.
- Participate in safety and customer service training programs.
- Report any irregularities, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
- Complete all required trainings and comply with policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ensure completion of checklists and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage practices preferred.
- Valid Food Handlers certification required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
