Job summary

Holiday Stationstores in Seattle is seeking a full-time Foodservice trainer to lead in-store food operations, train teams, and ensure high standards of product quality and customer service.

You will implement programs, conduct needs analyses, supervise food safety practices, and support BUQAS initiatives while managing budgeted expectations and maintaining strong collaboration with store management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG retail or Foodservice.
• Experience in training, leadership and team building.
• Skills in collaboration, cooperation, communication and organization.
• Food Manager Certification; ServSafe and NRFSP approved.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken; French a plus in Quebec.
• Customer service oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication with customers, management, associates and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Food category expert in store operations.
• Ensure food execution aligns with plan and minimizes waste.
• Train and coach associates on food production, replenishment, ordering, sanitation, and service.
• Serve as the in-store food service point of contact for employees.
• Plan and execute food sampling for employees and customers.
• Lead in-store training on new Foodservice programs via train the trainer.
• Maintain FIFO food rotation and up-to-date display per planogram.
• Assist in ordering to reduce out-of-stocks and shrink.
• Monitor shrink and maximize foodservice profit.
• Collaborate with BUQAS training staff to deliver programs.
