Job summary

Aramark is hiring a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead a team under a managerial mentor. You will oversee staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safe, compliant food production across the location.

The ideal candidate will manage schedules, supervise workers, mentor team members, and support catering events as needed, while maintaining quality and cost control within Aramark standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Must complete a sanitation course before or during first year.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production ensuring safety/quality per policies.
• Store food items in a safe, organized environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure items meet menu specs.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory accuracy.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain logs on equipment maintenance and safety checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklist; propose equipment replacements.
