Job summary

Aramark is hiring a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead operations and supervise staff under a manager's guidance. You will oversee schedules, production, safety, and quality of meals, while maintaining clean, organized departments and meeting menu specifications.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and the capacity to mentor teammates. Occasional night/weekend catering duties may be required at times.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations. Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production for safety and quality per policies.
• Ensure safe, organized storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specifications safely.
• Maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel and promote growth.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain logs on maintenance and safety checks.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager.
• Attend food service meetings and maintain staff communication.
