Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Full-Time Food Service Supervisor to lead a dedicated team within our food services operation. You will assist the manager, oversee daily activities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with colleagues to meet production and catering needs for the facility.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, adherence to recipes and menus, inventory control, and on-time meal service, including occasional events, with opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts.
• Excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food safety/quality according to policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules; ensure meals follow menu specs and Aramark procedures.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes.
• Maintain inventory on a weekly basis.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth and teamwork.
• Train and mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain logs on maintenance for equipment.
• Complete safety/temperature logs with corrective actions as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklists.
• Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
• Be multi-task capable and assist for events as needed.
• Fill in for absent employees; support catering events.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate with office staff.
• Possibly perform cashier duties and promote good public relations.
