Job Description

We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our passionate Food Services Team at the University of Alabama. Under the guidance of a manager, you will oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. This role offers growth opportunities and a chance to lead in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production sheets and recipes.
• Direct daily activities and ensure food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
• Store food items safely and organize storage areas.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications following company policies.
• Ensure a sanitary environment complying with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate weekly inventory records.
• Prepare orders as needed for location production.
• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor employees; promote teamwork and morale.
• Maintain a safe working environment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Assist with catering events and occasional night/weekend work.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain effective communication.
• Perform cashier duties as needed and promote positive public relations.
