Time to advance your career! We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors at Mike Durfee State Prison. You will work alongside a manager to oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. We look forward to supporting your growth and passion.

Starting Pay: $21/hour

Job Responsibilities
  1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production sheets and recipes.
  2. Direct daily activities and ensure food safety and quality according to policies.
  3. Store food items safely and maintain sanitation standards.
  4. Maintain serving schedules and ensure proper service per menu specifications.
  5. Keep accurate inventory records weekly and prepare orders as needed.
  6. Supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff; promote teamwork and morale.
  7. Ensure a safe working environment and perform equipment maintenance logs.
  8. Complete food safety logs and perform preventative maintenance.
  9. Recommend equipment replacements and perform other duties as assigned.
  10. Fill in for absent employees and coordinate catering events.
  11. Attend staff meetings and communicate effectively with team members.
  12. Perform cashier duties if necessary and promote good public relations.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
  • Complete a sanitation course within the first year.
  • Knowledge of efficient, cost-effective food programs.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and emotional control under stress.
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal conflict resolution abilities.
Education

Relevant educational qualifications as required by the role.
