Job summary

Aramark is hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to lead a dedicated Food Services Team. You’ll work with a manager to coordinate operations, oversee staff, and ensure safety and quality in every service.

You'll direct daily activities, manage schedules, and mentor team members while maintaining strong communication with staff and adhering to Aramark policies and customer needs. Occasional night/weekend events may be required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specs.
• Maintain a sanitary department compliant with health codes.
• Keep weekly inventory records.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; promote growth and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain maintenance logs for equipment.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective action when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Suggest equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
• Be proficient at multi-tasking.
• Fill in for absent employees at location.
• Track daily catering events and ensure on-time delivery.
• Occasionally work night and weekend catered events.
• Attend food service meetings and communicate with staff.
