Aramark Corporation in Madison, NJ seeks a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead the food services team, oversee staff, and coordinate operations with the help of a manager. You will supervise daily activities, ensure safety and quality, and maintain inventory and schedules.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to manage multitask, and a focus on customer service. Occasional night/weekend catering and training duties may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production that ensures safety and quality.
• Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized environment.
• Maintain serving schedules; serve per menu specs following Aramark policies.
• Maintain a sanitary department complying with health and safety codes.
• Maintain inventory weekly.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth and teamwork.
• Maintain safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain maintenance logs on equipment.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
• Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
• Proficient at multi-tasking.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Coordinate daily catering events and ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend food service meetings and maintain staff communication.
• Occasionally perform cashier duties.
• Promote good public relations.
