Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker at Mack Alford Correctional Center in Oklahoma. The role supervises inmates during meal prep, trains staff, and coordinates production to meet plans while following safety rules and sanitation standards.

You will handle portion control, dietary requirements, log reviews, and inventory tasks. The position emphasizes adherence to HACCP and Aramark SOPs and may involve shift work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain production guidelines according to Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and adherence to Aramark guidelines.
• Participate in preparation and serving of meals.
• Direct inmates in the use of Aramark recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain accurate daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies; ensure storage areas are locked.
