Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff in a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of meals following defined menus and recipes, using a range of utensils and equipment.

You report to the Food Service Director, work onsite inside a jail, and ensure a safe, compliant kitchen while training peers and adapting to shifts. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen staff during prep and service.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and procedures.
• Use utensils and equipment to cook and portion food.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
• Stand for extended periods and handle lifting as needed.
