**Job Description**

The **Food Service Supervisor at Jameson Annex** is responsible for ensuring that meal and food items are prepared according to production plans. This role involves training workers, assigning and coordinating work to promote operational efficiency, and maintaining the sanitation and safety standards of the facility. Responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

**Starting Pay: $19-$21/hour**

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production sheets and recipes.
2. Direct daily activities within the food service operation.
3. Ensure food safety and quality in accordance with policies and procedures.
4. Store food items safely and organize storage areas.
5. Maintain serving schedules and ensure proper serving of food per menu specifications.
6. Maintain a sanitary environment following health and safety codes.
7. Keep accurate inventory records weekly.
8. Prepare orders as needed for production.
9. Supervise, evaluate, and mentor employees to promote growth and teamwork.
10. Ensure a safe working environment.
11. Maintain equipment logs and perform preventative maintenance.
12. Complete all food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions as necessary.
13. Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
14. Perform multi-tasking efficiently.
15. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
16. Fill in for absent employees when necessary.
17. Coordinate and prepare for catering events, including occasional night and weekend shifts.
18. Attend staff meetings and maintain effective communication.
19. Perform cashier duties if required.
20. Promote positive public relations.
