University Housing is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to lead culinary operations in UW–Madison's residential dining facilities. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and coordinate menus and catering to residents and guests.

Food Service Supervisors help lead the production of safe, quality food within residential dining facilities on the UW-Madison campus and ensure they meet customer satisfaction and departmental goals. As a Food Service Supervisor in University Housing you will:

Be part of the Dining and Culinary Services team that serves the residents of the University Residence Halls, as well as UW-Madison students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

University Housing Dining and Culinary Services provides affordablemeals made from locally sourced ingredients and innovative diningoptions to residents, guests, and staff. We have market-place stylelocations in six buildings throughout campus. These marketplacesoffer a new variety of selections each day, as well asmade-to-order stations. Additionally, there are convenience stores,coffeehouses, and two franchises throughout campus, as well as aCatering, and Central Production and Bakery operation.
Within the Eagle Heights Community Garden, Dining and CulinaryServices has a 1-acre Campus Farm producing vegetables that areused in menus in marketplaces, as well as in Grab & Go items inconvenience stores and on the Electric Eats Food Truck.
The starting hourly wage is $22.50 or higher based on qualifications.
This position includes significant night and weekend shift differentials, a free meal for every shift, and a $1,000 referral bonus for each person hired. Associate’s degree preferred
This position has been identified as a position of trust. Theselected candidate will be required to pass an initial criminal background check to be eligible for employment and then every four years thereafter.
