Qualifications

Job description

Overview

The mission of Helio Health is to promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other behavioral health issues. The Food Service Supervisor will work Full-Time providing nutritious meals to residents in our Residential Programs and over-seeing the cooks.

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for aSign-On Incentive of up to$1,500!

Pay rate: up to $25.00 - $31.25 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares and serves planned meals for clients living in the Community Residence.
  • Takes direction from Team Leader/Residence Manager and keeps him/her informed regarding content of workload.
  • Communicates with kitchen staff regarding Quality Assurance.
  • Performs general kitchen and stock work as well as monitors equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains a sanitary & safe workstation and participating in Quality Assurance activities such as:
    • Provide services according to agency policies and procedures and governmental regulations.
    • Identify strengths and/or problems regarding Quality Assurance.
    • Assist with problem resolution and implementing modifications.
  • Maintains an inventory of food and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensures inventory is adequate to meet the menu plan.
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate/Equivalency.
  • At least 2 years of food supervisory experience preferred.
  • Food service experience and techniques.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
