Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of food items, beverages, and accompaniments.
• Add garnishments for presentation and appeal.
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and maintain hygiene standards.
• Communicate daily menu needs to the Manager for accurate prep.
• Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Keep work and storage areas clean and organized.
• Clean and sanitize counters, steam tables, and other equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and wash dishes as required.
• Maintain garbage collection areas in a sanitary manner.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
• Role may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing; may require PPE.
