Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Food Service Worker for full-time or part-time roles. Prior food service experience is required.

You will prepare, present and serve food, perform prep tasks, and ensure safety, sanitation and portion control in a campus dining environment. Pay ranges from $13.00 to $14.50 per hour with flexible schedules; online applications are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Moves pans, kettles and trays between stations while following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, service standards and cash control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
