Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for a full-time Sous Chef in Rock Hill, SC. The role supports the Executive Chef, coordinates kitchen activities, and ensures production meets standards a nd deadlines. Open availability is required with a fixed pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Location is Winthrop University with a flexibility to work across shifts. This position includes benefits and opportunities for growth within a campus dining program.

Qualifications

• Prior cook experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates and supports scheduling and training.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
