Job summary

Trinity Services Group, located on-site inside a jail/correctional facility, is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve a variety of meals following menus and recipes. You will report to a Food Service Director and join a team in a structured, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in institutional food service or restaurants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• Maintain a neat and food safe workstation, including cleaning as you go, pulling trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations about sanitation, handling, and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, staying organized and clean.
