Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is hiring a Food Service Specialist II at Lighthouse Services in Woodward to provide quality meals and great service to residents in inpatient and enhanced residential facilities.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, using cooking equipment, cutting and preparing meat and fish, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen while ensuring meals are served on schedule.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience; substituting one year of vocational/technical school training in food preparation for the required experience.

Now Hiring: Food Service Specialist II

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Food Service Specialist II to join our team and help provide quality meals and excellent food service to individuals in our inpatient and enhanced residential facilities.

This position will serve work primarily at ourLighthouse Services in Woodward and willensure meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and with care.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve meals for inpatient and residential facilities.

• Use a variety of cooking and baking equipment and supplies.

• Cut and prepare meat, poultry, and fish.

Job Type/Salary:

• Annual Salary - $32,500.00/$15.62

Special Requirements:

• Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background.

• Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.
