Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking a Food Service Worker II to join our cafeteria and patient care food operations. You will prepare, serve, and assist in multiple kitchen stations while upholding safety standards.

You will handle cash, stock, and customer service, follow HACCP guidelines, and support nourishment and tray assembly for patients and staff. This role emphasizes reliability, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some Food Service experience is desirable.
• Food Handlers permit or must obtain during the first two weeks of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve foods and beverages across cafeteria, salad, nourishments, and grill areas.
• Handle cash register operations, opening bank verifications, closing bank reconciliations, meal passes and employee discounts.
• Maintain sanitation and HACCP compliance in all service areas.
• Ensure cafeteria stock levels and attractive product presentation.
