Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking a Food Service Worker II to support cafeteria operations across multiple departments including Cafeteria, Salad Aides, Nourishments, Plugger and Grill roles. The position emphasizes safe food handling, timely service, and attention to HACCP guidelines in a hospital setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), prior food service experience, and a Food Handlers permit to be obtained within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some Food Service experience is desirable.
• Food Handlers permit or must obtain during the first two weeks of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and cashier in cafeteria operations.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes for salads and desserts.
• Perform routine nourishment tasks including tube feed mixing and formulas.
• Handle patient trays and carts with attention to HACCP and safety guidelines.
• Prepare grill and fried items in a sanitary, timely manner.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service across food service areas.
