Job summary

Fresno EOC is seeking a Food Production Worker I to assist in preparing, producing, packaging and serving food within the Food Services program in Fresno, CA. This role includes cleaning equipment, supporting food tray assembly, and maintaining sanitation per health regulations.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of related food production experience, and a Food Handlers card within 30 days. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and adherence to safety protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers card required within 30 days of employment.
• Familiar with public health regulations, food temps, thermometers, and danger zones.
• Able to read procedures, perform arithmetic, and complete forms.

Responsibilities

• Machine and hand wash food service equipment.
• Wash containers and sanitize work areas and premises.
• Assist in food preparation and assembly of trays.
• Dispose of trash per procedures.
• Follow Fresno EOC policies and safety rules.
• Maintain regular attendance and adaptability to schedule.
