Chartwells Higher Ed seeks an experienced Culinary Production Manager to supervise a high-performing food service operation at East Connecticut State University in Windham, CT. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional culinary experiences while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will lead food production, manage inventories, supervise a culinary team, and drive cost efficiency and quality across all meals and events.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of culinary management experience in contract dining services, fine dining, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment.
Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory control, food costing, and budget management.
Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Experience managing financial performance, including P&L accountability.
Skilled in exhibition cooking and large-scale food production.
ServSafe Certification preferred.
