Compass Group's Canteen North America is hiring in Sandy Springs, SC for a full-time food service role. You will prepare, present and serve food, with Sunday through Thursday shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and a pay range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include prep work, measuring ingredients, maintaining safety standards, serving customers, and assisting with inventory and sanitation. Full-time and part-time benefits apply, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Prepares, presents and serves food.
• Ability to perform prep work (washing, peeling, cutting, seeding).
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Follow food safety and rotation procedures.
• Provide friendly service and resolve customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
