Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Food Service Worker for a full-time evening shift in Greer, SC. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving food, with duties including food prep, sanitation, and customer service.

The position offers benefits and opportunities for growth, with a schedule Sunday through Friday from 6:00 pm to 3:30 am. Previous experience in food service, customer service, record keeping, and sanitation is preferred.

Qualifications

Previous food service, customer service, record keeping and sanitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
