Job summary

The Food Service Worker at Aramark in Kentucky assists the manager with food preparation, maintains records, and supports daily reports. You will help ensure high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety and contribute to timely meal service.

This role requires ability to follow menus, handle equipment safely, and work under pressure. You will collaborate with the team to deliver meals, maintain cleanliness, and assist in major cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage.
• Follow established procedures and standards for cleanliness; duties include sweeping, mopping, ware washing.

Education

Food Service Certificate as needed
