Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Food Service Prep Cook to join our Nutrition & Food Service team. You will help prepare fresh, nutritious meals that support our patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
In collaboration with culinary professionals, you will contribute to patient meal service, retail dining, catering events, and other food service operations. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in daily kitchen workflows.

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Food Service Prep Cook to join our Nutrition & Food Service team. In this role, you'll help prepare fresh, nutritious meals that support our patients, visitors, and staff. Working alongside experienced culinary professionals, you'll contribute to patient meal service, retail dining, catering events, and other food service operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of prior full-time experience in food service operations. NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
The ideal candidate should have previous food preparation, cooking, or food service experience. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, along with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.33.
