Job summary

Aramark Corporation is seeking a Food Service Supervisor in Livingston, NJ to coordinate and control all activities related to the food production system and retail programs. You will assume duties during the Food Service Director's absence and ensure high standards of service and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget involvement, and supervision of production staff, with a focus on patient and client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain friendly, efficient customer service attitude toward customers, clients and co-workers.
• Assist in budget preparation and development of short- and long-term financial plans for the unit.
• Plan and direct resources of the Food Service Department to provide service for customers, staff and patients.
• Oversee food production area and implement cost control measures.
• Monitor unit performance through customer satisfaction systems and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other laws and policy requirements.
• Supervise all food production staff and coordinate schedules.
• Plan menus and related activities with other personnel.
• Maintain records to comply with standards and reports.
