Responsibilities: This position (see qualifications below) will assist the Zoo’s Food Service department as needed with any and all responsibilities related to the food service department. Consistently positive interaction with the Zoo’s visitors is the most important part of the position. Proper zoo uniform standards are essential. Additional duties may include but not limited to: the responsible distribution of alcohol, working a cash register, taking orders, stocking, delivering, organizing the food and beverage storage areas, assisting with the preparation of food, maintaining the cleanliness of the unit, working the front line, and assisting the manager on any other assigned tasks. The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour, but may increase based on availability and experience.

Qualifications: This position requires that ONE the following criteria be met: 1) Weekday availability (three or more days), March – October; 2) Year-round availability of any three or more days per week; 3) The candidates age is 21 or older with the ability to serve alcohol.
