'Gauges' of Responsibility:
  • Prepare all menu items safely and appetizingly.
  • Schedule staff and manage operations, including working all shifts (most likely 9am-9pm, 7 days/week).
  • Work the front counter and prep areas with staff.
  • Order supplies, check in deliveries, and organize stock.
  • Hire and train employees, including offsite training prior to opening.
  • Maintain cleanliness and shop condition.
  • Ensure brand standards and health code compliance.
  • Conduct weekly cost counts and delegate shift duties.
  • Attend meetings and schedule staff for ServSafe training.
  • Resolve guest issues professionally.
  • Handle shift cash outs and reporting.
  • Complete administrative tasks like payroll and emails.
