Job summary

Eurest in Virginia is seeking a Food Service Manager to oversee cafeteria operations from open to close, maintain costs and quality standards, and lead a team to deliver high‑quality meals in corporate settings.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, interviewing and training, planning duties, ensuring sanitation, and driving events. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in upscale food service with management exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years upscale food service experience, including 2 years at the management level.
• Supervising, scheduling, training, management & coaching skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and operation of food service equipment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• ServSafe or health department certification a plus.

• Interviews, hires, trains and coaches employees and entry level managers.
• Plans, assigns and directs job duties.
• Participates in employee meetings, reviews and development.

• Prepares and maintains volume trend analysis report on a daily basis.
• Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the café.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus
