Eurest, part of Compass Group, seeks a Director of Dining Services for Liberty, NC. You will lead a busy corporate dining operation, own the account from kitchen to client, and embody the experience for employees and clients.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Food Services Management or AA plus experience, 5–7 years of leadership in foodservice, strong budgeting and P&L skills, and ServSafe certification. Join a high-performance team delivering quality meals and service.

Qualifications

• BS in Food Services Technology/Management or AA with 4 years related experience.
• 5–7 years foodservice operations management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food cost control, sanitation, and presentation.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; ServSafe Certified.

Job Summary

About the Role

Great hospitality starts with a leader who loves feeding people and growing teams. As Director of Dining Services with Eurest, you’ll run a busy corporate dining operation and be the face of the experience for our client and every employee who walks through the door. If you’re energetic, entrepreneurial, and ready to own an account from the kitchen to the client meeting, this is your stage.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a team of salaried managers and hourly associates, setting the direction, coordination, and standards for the entire account
• Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience across retail, cafeteria, and catering, with cost-effective management that meets and exceeds expectations
• Hire, train, coach, and develop your team: assign work, appraise performance, recognize great effort, and resolve concerns with care
• Build and manage the annual budget, and keep the account on track using company systems for inventory, cash reports, production records, and payroll/timekeeping
• Stay hands‑on in food and beverage preparation and service, upholding Eurest standards for quality, presentation, portion control, sanitation, and safety (HACCP and OSHA)
• Champion quality improvement, sanitation, and infection control, and lead all client‑related activities
• Handle other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field, or an A.A. plus four years of directly related experience
• 5-7 years of foodservice operational management experience, with a solid command of inventory and purchasing controls
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
• P&L accountability or contract‑managed service experience is a plus
• Proven leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, from associates to managers to clients
• Strong financial, budgeting, and accounting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and the internet
• ServSafe® Certified
