Eurest is seeking a Food Service Manager in North Chesterfield, VA to lead cafeteria operations from open to close. You will manage costs and quality, supervise a team, and ensure sanitation standards are exceeded.

The role requires 3–5 years of upscale food service experience with management exposure, strong coaching skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Compensation reflects the responsibilities and benefits offered by Eurest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Three to five years upscale food service experience, including two years at management level.
• Supervising, scheduling, training, management & coaching skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and operation of food service equipment.

Job Summary

This individual is responsible for the overall cafeteria operations from open to close. They will be expected to maintain established costs and quality standards, lead a team of employees, and ensure quality and sanitation standards are exceeded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
• Three to five years upscale food service experience, including two years at the management level
• Supervising, scheduling, training, management & coaching skills
• Knowledge of basic work area operations, company and client policies and procedures
• Operational knowledge of the cash handling procedures and operation of food service equipment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus
