Job summary

Maverik is hiring a Food Service Manager to lead daily operations, supervise Team Members and ensure safe, high-quality food and service. You will drive training and development, maintain facilities, and oversee inspections with the Store Director to meet standards.

Starting pay is $17.95–$19.95 per hour, with growth opportunities. A 24/7 store environment requires flexibility, and ServeSafe certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.
• Flexible Schedule: stores operate 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: engage Team Members and deliver great customer experiences.
• Collected & Composed: stay calm under pressure while delivering service.
• Effective Problem Solving: analyze issues and create solutions.
• Foodservice: 2+ years of foodservice management (preferred).
• ServeSafe Certification: currently certified or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee all tasks of Team Members.
• Team Development: assist training, mentoring and supervision.
• Facility Maintenance: ensure safe food prep and clean self-serve options.
• Operational Excellence: inspect facilities and equipment with Store Director and third parties.
