Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 3 for Rockville Rehabilitation in Rockville, Maryland.

This is a multi-faceted medical center campus with a non-acute care rehabilitation is in search of a motivated food service manager that is looking for a growth opportunity in the healthcare foodservice industry. Candidate must have strong communication skills, encouraging team builder mentality, and have a desire to learn and grow professionally. Continuous process improvements and employee engagement are high priorities for our team.


What You'll Do

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations of all patient food operations
  • deliver high quality food service on the floors to patients
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • develop strategic plans
  • create a positive environment
  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
