Sodexo Campus Dining is seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager 3 to join our team at SUNY Oneonta, a mid-sized, four-year public university in the scenic foothills of the Catskills. What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and daily oversight of front-of-house operations including multiple dining halls, a bistro, and catering services.

  • Support a wide variety of venues.

  • Manage and inspire a diverse team of full-time unionized staff, managers/supervisors/office staff, and student employees.

  • Drive customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.

  • Uphold Sodexo and client standards for quality, safety, and service excellence.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and service-oriented campus dining culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
