Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD to lead a team of highly motivated staff while delivering exceptional food-focused hospitality and service as its core mission. This role requires a leader committed to outstanding customer service and providing detailed-oriented dining experiences.

This university resident dining location creates exceptional experiences that exceed customers’ expectations and support a healthy learning environment. The successful candidate will have prior high-volume dining experience and a proven track record of providing world-class hospitality to support dining operations. What You'll Do
  • Maintain and develop client relationships and customer satisfaction across multi-functional food service areas to ensure account retention and positive public relations;
  • Establish and maintain a safe work environment;
  • Supervise daily work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing tasks, and monitoring standards;
  • Utilize Sodexo resources and programs to meet operating standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring employees have necessary equipment and inventory;
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback to employees to reward, coach, correct, and motivate, fostering high employee engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience: 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience: 1 year in food or culinary services, including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
