Job Description:

As a Food Services Manager, you will oversee operations and personnel within your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR), ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution, client satisfaction, and strong financial performance.
  2. Coordinate with various teams, personnel, and clients to ensure effective operations, while managing the availability of skilled personnel and resources.
  3. Ensure the safe and clean preparation of nutritious, visually appealing meals. Provide culinary guidance and instruction to subordinate employees, subcontractors, and/or labor broker personnel.
  4. Oversee inventory control, ordering processes, and proper food storage to ensure consistency and reduce waste.
  5. Ensure all food service operations comply with health and safety regulations, while adhering to approved menu plans.
  6. Maintain and implement training programs to ensure all personnel meet performance standards and safety requirements.
  7. Promote and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment at all times.
  8. Ensure the quality and quantity of food prepared and delivered meets client expectations.
  9. Foster teamwork by working cooperatively with other staff members to achieve operational goals.
  10. As directed by management, you may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
  11. Position may be located in diverse environments, ranging from typical office settings to challenging project worksites with harsh living and working conditions.
  12. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level, as required for job functions.
  13. Basic physical ability to perform job functions and ensure safety standards are met.
