Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills; must be a student at the Aramark location.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality.
• Store food items safely and organize workspace.
• Maintain serving schedules and adhere to menu specs.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Maintain weekly inventory.
• May prepare orders for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel and promote growth.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs and perform checks.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager.
• Fill in for absent employees when needed.
• Stay informed of daily catering events and ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend food service meetings and communicate with staff.
• May perform cashier duties as needed.
• Support public relations.
• Occasional night/weekend catered events.
