Job summary

You will assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers under a manager's guidance, while developing on-the-job skills and fostering positive customer interactions. Responsibilities include leading daily food preparation, station setup, proper portioning, maintaining logs, ensuring quality, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food Service Experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.
• Able to work in kitchen areas with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in the preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and solicit feedback on service quality.
• Maintain a clean work station and sanitize utensils.
• Dispose of waste from the service line correctly.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and events as required.
• Follow supervisor directions and complete tasks on schedule.
