Job summary

Mueller Yurgae Associates (MYA) in Grimes, IA is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead and grow the Food Service business within the Convenience division. You will manage assigned Food Service clients and key relationships while serving as the internal Food Service resource for the team.

You'll partner with Account Managers to develop strategies, selling stories, and execution plans to increase distribution, assortment, velocity, and revenue, while identifying new clients and opportunities and

Qualifications

The candidate should have strong knowledge of the Food Service industry and related channels.
Proven sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with client-management experience.
Ability to develop strategic selling stories and business plans for food service opportunities.
Experience building relationships with food service clients and distributors.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned Food Service clients within the Convenience division.
Lead strategic Food Service discussions with clients to identify priorities and growth.
Develop customer-specific Food Service strategies and execution plans.
Partner with Account Managers to identify and develop opportunities.
Attend critical Food Service appointments and support negotiations and follow-up.
Represent the Company at customer meetings and industry events as appropriate.
