Title: Dishwasher

Reports to: Kitchen Manager(s) and Chef Team

Responsibilities

1. Clean and sanitize dishes and kitchen equipment, including utensils, pots, and pans ensuring they meet standards for safe food preparation.
2. Work with kitchen team to ensure dishes and equipment are stored properly.
3. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
4. Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles while ensuring proper waste separation.
5. Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
6. Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.
7. Maintain cleaning schedules to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are completed.
8. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

IDEA + Belonging

Promote an inclusive & supportive approach within the Brand team, with networking continuing at all units. Focuses on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members at all levels. Leads by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts; displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary. Engages with SSA/Unit in driving community effort through engagement activities and focus on opportunities of giving back.

Job Requirements

1. Must be willing and able to work standing for long periods of time.
2. Experience with fast-paced dish pit environment preferred.
3. Ability to push through dishes and organize area as necessary to the business.
4. Experience with MSDS knowledge and upholds active practice of cleanliness in the dish area while maintaining protocol for dish liquid use.
5. Responsibly geared towards presenting a clean and welcome experience for guests through upholding sanitation requirements.
