Food Service Director - Navion of Shelby

Navion of Shelby, a Navion Senior Solutions community located in Shelby, NC, is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee our food service program. Responsibilities include meal preparation, supervision, serving, sanitation of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, product rotation, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and planning and directing the food service operations.

Navion of Shelby has partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access their earned wages instantly, empowering them with more financial control and reshaping payroll processes.

Requirements

• Maintains a current ServSafe sanitation certificate or is able to participate in sanitation training to become certified
• Previous food service leadership experience, including menu planning and therapeutic diets
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, effective communication skills, organizational and time management skills, good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to serve seniors in a team environment
