$50,000-$55,000/year

About This Position

The Food Service Director plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of running a large food service operation with one or more production kitchens. This position oversees the kitchen's operational and financial responsibilities. It supervises an Assistant Food Service Director and/or a team of Food Service Supervisors and/or Cooks involved with food preparation, serving, and cleanup in a secure correctional facility. Other duties as needed.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Basic accounting and mathematical skills to complete reports.
