Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or related field preferred.
• CDM or RD certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food service management, healthcare or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily operations of the food service department.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations.
• Plan, develop, and implement menus meeting nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff.

Job Summary

Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Food Service Director to lead our dietary department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, ensuring high-quality meal preparation, compliance with healthcare regulations, and an exceptional dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily operations of the food service department
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations
• Plan, develop, and implement menus that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences
• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff
• Monitor food quality, safety, and sanitation standards
